Q40 Single Ended UV Unit
Description
The Pumpmasters SE range of UV disinfection units are manufactured in the UK. These are used widely for purification of private water supplies, they are compact, economical and designed with the consumer in mind.
Each unit utilises commonplace single ended 254 nM UV lamp technology. Sized correctly these achieve a disinfection dose of 99.99(+)% reduction of all relevant parasites and bacteria. Making the system not only economical for energy running costs, but also for replacement UV lamps.
Single ended UV lamps also make servicing the equipment very simple.
It is every important any particulates or sediment does not obstruct the UV light. We recommend the use of a correctly sized 5 micron pre filter. These are also available from us.
The lamp should be replaced after 8760 hours use (approx 1 year) to ensure efficient operation. The units are suitable for connection to a 110 - 240 volt, 40 - 60 Hz single phase domestic power supply.
